Matt & Vanessa’s Cokato Engagement

I can’t describe how crazy it feels to take pictures of a couple of lovebirds, when one of them happens to be a girl I baby sat.  When I stepped back into Vanessa’s house, we immediately started recounting the memories we had, when I was young and she was younger!  I remember chasing Vanessa and her siblings around the living room, talking and laughing, making cookies and making a bigger mess.  Waaaay too much fun.  Now this beautiful girl is getting married.  Matt and Vanessa seem almost 10 years older than they are, because their love is so steady and mature.  I had such a great time catching up and getting to know them together.  It was an extremely bright day, but I guess that made the Cokato scenery a little more surreal than usual.  I hope you enjoy!

Bringing back the dress! Jason & Ami part 2.

The next part of the shoot was heaven!  Jason, Ami & I sought out the sun and found it on the east bank of the Mississippi.

My husband, Scott, thinks this looks like a fairytale.  I agree!  *sigh*

I did not touch up this photo.  Seriously, those are Ami’s eyes!

Jason & Ami… Two Years Later!

It’s amazing how time flies.  It’s already been over two years since I first photographed Jason and Ami getting married.  Now, two years later, they are even more adorable and more in love.  They will be moving out of state soon, so I’m so glad to be able to spend a little time with them before they leave.  Before Ami got into her dress, we decided to do a fun shoot with her cute burgundy dress and handsome hubby.  Enjoy!
