Shawn & Chelsea’s Stone Arch Engagement

If you are single, or looking to meet really nice people, listen up.  Swing Dancing with DJ Terry Gardner is the place to be.  How do I know this?  Well, I happen to have met my darlin’ hubby swing dancing.  And if you remember last July, I took photos for David and Amy’s wedding, and their love blossomed on the dance floor (they happen to be a super awesome couple).  And now, I introduce to you Shawn and Chelsea, who also met swing dancing!  They are as sweet as sugar and I can’t wait to take photos at their wedding!  Shawn and Chelsea met about 7 years ago and Chelsea knew right away that Shawn was the guy she wanted to spend the rest of her life with, and little by little over time (and through many stress engagement dreams of Chelsea’s!), Shawn came to see that he couldn’t live without Chelsea either.  I am so happy for these two!

Shawn looks so dapper!

True love and dance moves… it doesn’t get any better!

Isn’t Chelsea absolutely stunning?

Towards the end of the shoot, the light became absolutely perfect.  I can’t get enough of Shawn and Chelsea AND the beautiful background of Minneapolis!

I had to put this picture on this blog post, because Chelsea’s hands are so pretty and graceful.

Congrats again, you two love birds!  Your love for one another is so evident and so free.  You are beautiful together.

Andrew & EunKyoung’s Wedding!

It all started with a bike… harmless, I know, but when you’re friends who turn into lovers after putting together a bike, it’s not so simple.  Looking back, I bet EunKyoung is glad she ordered that bike and I bet Andrew was glad he helped put it together!  Even if some parts were put on backward.  Hahahah!  These two are simply perfect for each other.  Just the right amount of depth and laughter to make the sweetest couple ever.  Even rain on their wedding day didn’t spoil their sweetness and in the end, we got our bit of sunshine. :)

Makeup & Hair: Smart and Chic Beauty | Flowers: Joyce Lu | Catering: Kane’s Catering | Venue: Bethlehem Baptist Church

EunKyoung’s beautiful dress.

As I thought about where to shoot EunKyoung’s shoes, I thought, what better place to take a photo that represents that morning than in the window showcasing the rain!

The handsome and happy groom.

And the sun came out!  We headed out to Stone Arch in Minneapolis for some fun photos!

Andrew & EunKyoung, thank you for letting me spend your special day with you.  You two are absolutely adorable together!

Love,

Kassy :)

Rebekah’s Senior Portraits

I had SUCH a blast taking Rebekah’s Senior Photos in September. I got to go out with Rebekah and her friend (and my cousin!) Anna. I decided to break their senior portraits into separate posts, so stay tuned for Anna’s photos. :)  But here is the soon to be Graduate, Rebekah!

Love this shot.  She is so cute!

Walked by this wall and saw this shot in my head.  Ugh!  Rebekah, you make it perfection!

She is so beautiful and poised… can you tell she’s a dancer?

Out of all of Rebekah’s photos, this was is totally my fave.

I wish you the best Senior year, Rebekah!  Stay your beautiful self! :)

Love,

Kassy :)
