Aradhana, Gaurav & Baby!

I couldn’t wait to take maternity photos of Aradhana with her husband, Gaurav.  These two met at school in India and have made their way to Minnesota and they are about start a brand-new chapter in their life… Parenthood!  They are expecting a baby girl in May, so what better time to take photos, then when the flowers are blooming!  I had so much fun taking these photos at Minnehaha Park!  Enjoy!

Aradhana & Gaurav, I am so happy for you two.  Not only are you a beautiful couple, but you will be wonderful parents.  I got all teary-eyed towards the end of the shoot, because you two were so joyful and loving.  May your family be blessed!

Missing Photography

I feel like I haven’t picked up my camera in AGES.  It’s funny how life can just take over and you forget to do the things you love.  These pictures were taken back in Spring, when this beautiful bush across the street starts blooming.  It’s sad, because the bush only blooms for about a week, and as soon as the rain comes, the flowers are gone.

I am determined to dust off my camera and take photos this weekend.  Because what’s the purpose of living life every day if you can’t step back and enjoy it a little?  I hope you all are doing well and that you find time for important things in your life.

Tulips at Minikahda

On weekdays, you’ll find me working at the beautiful Minikahda Club in Minneapolis, and sometimes I can’t believe that I work at such a lovely place.  The Grounds Dept. does a spectacular job at beautifying every inch of land and I was so happy that I was able to catch these incredible tulips before the storms blew the poor things away.  Enjoy!

May showers bring June flowers… right? ;)
