Well, I’m snowed in this weekend and there’s nothing I can do about it! I was out on a photography gig yesterday and when Scott and I tried to get home, we ended up getting stuck 1 block away from our house! After a big struggle and a lot of help from our super nice neighbors, we were able to at least get our car to the side of the road and walk home. The plows didn’t get to our street until this afternoon, so needless to say, we weren’t going anywhere! But that didn’t mean we got to be lazy. I think Scott and I spent a good chunk of the day shoveling ourselves out! We have a corner house and a garage, so we had to shovel two stretches of sidewalk, our walkway in the front of the house, our walkway in the back of the house, our driveway and our deck. And right about now, I’m feeling it! Well, even in all of the getting stuck and back pain, there is a pretty part to all of this, I guess. And that’s the snow in the morning light. Enjoy!

Well, as I lay here in a state of incapacitation, all I can say is that I’m glad I’m indoors and I’m so thankful for pizza delivery guys. Amen.
